The Yorkshire Snooker Handicap Qualifier “1” Draw
The first qualifying day for this year’s Yorkshire Snooker Handicap has attracted a maximum field of 48 players.
Due to the large number of entries, 16 players will progress to the finals day on May 10th.
The field has been split into 8 groups of 6.
Round Robin matches will be 1 frame.
The 8 group winners will go straight through to finals day.
The 16 players who finish in positions 2 and 3 will then play an additional best-of-3 match to determine the extra 8 qualifiers.
If 2 players are tied when the groups are completed, the result of their head-to-head match will determine who finishes higher.
If 3 or more players are tied, the player with the highest break (over 25) will finish highest.
If there are no breaks over 25 to split the tied players, a mini blue ball competition will be held.
Players in groups A to F should register by 9:45 for a 10:00 start.
Players in groups G and H should register by 10:15
Dress code applies, no trainers, jeans or collarless t-shirts.
