Huddersfield go top of Division One

A fine 5-1 home win against Leeds “1” saw Huddersfield “1” go top of Division 1 at the weekend. Rob Read (98) and Conrad Norcliffe on form for Huddersfield.

It finished 3-3 in the Sheffield Derby. John Large putting Sheffield “2” in front before Jason Evans-Bates hit back for Sheffield “1”. Shaun Wilkes added a 77 break for the no 2 side.

In the other game played Castleford drew 3-3 at home to Harrogate “1”. Callum Waite drawing first blood for Harrogate before Ritchie Bresnan salvaged a draw for Cas.

Bradford v Sheffield “3” was postponed.
