Sheffield “3” secure Division 2 title.

Despite going down 4-2 at home to Leeds (Danny Waite 53 break), Sheffield gained the points needed to secure the Division 2 title.
They stand 6 points clear of nearest rivals Leeds and have a better win/draw record.

Elsewhere, Harrogate “2” fought out a 3-3 draw with Bradford (Boover Singh 55).

In the other match, Halifax had a fine 5-1 win at Huddersfield “2”, Dave Hall (55) and Johnny Gallagher starring for Fax. Dave Hall’s brace keeps him on top of the MVP list with 16/20.

The last round of matches is on the weekend of 30th/31st May, with 2nd spot still up for grabs.

Sheffield “2” Retain Division 1 Title.

A comfortable 5-1 home victory over Castleford means Sheffield “2” have retained their Division 1 crown. Will Lemons (69) and James Dabell both gaining maximum points.
Will Lemons tops the MVP list with 13/16, and Shaun Wilkes holds the high break with 110.
All in all, not a bad season for the Sheffield side.

In Division 2 league leaders Sheffield “3” were held to a 3-3 draw away at Harrogate “2”. Nathan Hague putting Sheffield in front, Andy Harris hitting back for Harrogate.
Halifax v Leeds also finished level. Johnny Gallagher striking first for Fax before James Pears (70) levelled for Leeds.
Dave Hall heads the Division 2 MVP list (14/18), Simon Bedford holds the high break with 71.

Sheffield “3” maintained their lead at the top of Division 2 with a 4-2 victory over 2nd placed Bradford, Dave Pagett proving the difference between the sides.

Elsewhere, Leeds kept their promotion hopes alive with a 6-0 whitewash of Harrogate “2”, Scott Clayforth, Danny Waite and Tom Purves all gaining maximum points.
In the other match, Halifax overcame Wakefield 5-1, with Dave Hall and Johnny Gallagher starring; Hall maintained his lead at the top of the MVP list at 13/16.

Division 1 leaders Sheffield “2” were held to a 3-3 draw away at Huddersfield “1” at the weekend. Shaun Wilkes is making it 12 out of 12 to put Sheffield in front before Conrad Norcliffe hit back for the home side.
In a match played a week early, Harrogate “1” had a fine 5-1 victory away at Sheffield “1”. Shab Ditta and Kaif Shazad gaining maximum points, Tom Harris adding a 65 break.

In the second division, Harrogate “2” now sit second, only 2 points behind leaders Sheffield “3” after a 6-0 demolition of Huddersfield “2”, Andy Harris, Neil Little and Chris Scott all starring.
Sheffield “3” managed to salvage a draw at Halifax, Dave Pagett rescuing the league leaders after Johnny Gallagher had put the home side ahead.

Dave Hall is on top of the MVP race due to the high break separator.

Sheffield “3” moved 5 points clear at the top of Division 2 after a comfortable 5-1 victory at home to Wakefield, Dave Pagett and Reece Matin starring for Sheffield. Matin now leads the MVP race with 10 wins from 12.

In the only other match played at the weekend, Leeds had a fine 5-1 win at Huddersfield “2”. Scott Clayforth and Danny Waite on target for Leeds.

The next round of matches is on the weekend of 21st/22nd February.

Unbeaten Sheffield “2” extended their lead at the top of Division 1 to 8 points with a 5-1 victory over Sheffield “1” at the weekend. Shaun Wilkes and Will Lemons gained maximum points, which leaves Wilkes at the top of the MVP list with a perfect 10/10. Wilkes also has the current high break with 110.

In the other Division 1 match, Huddersfield “1” were held at home 3-3 by Harrogate “1”. Conrad Norcliffe(51) gave Huddersfield the lead before Tom Harris hit back for the visitors. Kaif Shazad chipping in with a 50 break for Harrogate.

In the rearranged match in Division 2, Leeds defeated Wakefield 4-2, Scott Clayforth (61) starring for Leeds.

Castleford moved up to 2nd place in Division 1 after a fine 5-1 home win over Sheffield “1”. Scott Bull and Ritchie Bresnan both gaining maximum points.

In Division 2, Harrogate “2” moved into joint top place with a 4-2 win against Halifax, Andrew Harris proving the difference between the teams.

The other match at the weekend saw Huddersfield “2” and Bradford fight out a 3-3 draw.

A Dave Pagett double secured a 4-2 win for Sheffield “3” at Leeds and ensured his team stayed in top spot in Division 2.

Elsewhere, second-placed Harrogate “2” were held to a 3-3 draw at Bradford, despite a 50 break from Andy Harris.

The other match also finished 3-3. Dave Hall(52) put Halifax in front before Saeed Nawab levelled for Huddersfield “2”.

Reece Matin heads the MVP list with 8/10 and shares the current high break (62) with Brendon Timlin.

Next matches are on the weekend of 17th/18th January.

As we reach the Christmas break, there are Sheffield teams at the top of both divisions.

In the depleted 1st division, there was just one fixture played at the weekend, Huddersfield “1” defeating Castleford 4-2. Martin Wood and Robert Read on target for the home side, Ritchie Bresnan replying for Castleford.

Sheffield “2” lead the table, Shaun Wilkes heads the MVP list with 8/8 and also has the current high break with 110.

In the 2nd division, Sheffield “3” are on top after a fine 5-1 away win at Huddersfield “2”. Reece Matin and Dave Pagett with maximum points. Reece Matin heads the MVP list with 7/8.

Harrogate “2” had a comfortable 5-1 win over Wakefield, Declan Bristow and Neil Little starring.

In the third match, Bradford overcame Leeds 4-2 thanks to a Simon Bedford brace.

There is a tie for the high break prize, Reece Matin and Brendan Timlin both having runs of 62.

The next round of matches is on the weekend of 3/4th January.

Elsewhere, Wakefield gained their first win of the season, beating Huddersfield “2- 5-1 thanks to Brendan Timlin (62 break) and Danny Edginton. Timlin now sits at the top of the MVP list with 6 wins from 8.

In the other match played at the weekend, Leeds got back to winning ways with a 4-2 home victory over Halifax. Danny Waite and James Pears putting Leeds 4-0 up before Dave Hall hit back for Fax.

The next round of matches is on the weekend of the 13th/14th of December.
