Sheffield “2” hit the Top Spot in Division 1
Despite being held to a 3-3 draw at home to Castleford, Sheffield “2” moved to the top of Division 1 with a 1-point lead over Brighouse and a game in hand. David Dalton put the home side into a 3-1 lead before Andrew Houlker levelled for the visitors.
Leeds “1” played a re-arranged game against Rotherham winning 5-1 thanks to maximum points from Richard Binns (71) and Stephen Broadhead.
The only other game played was a match brought forward between Sheffield “1” and Castleford, which resulted in Castleford taking all 6 frames thanks to wins for Mikie Hodgson, Andrew Houlker and Pete Raby. (The result for this match will be added to the website when the next round of matches is played).
In the race for the MVP, Lee Roberts and David Dalton are tied on 15 wins each, Roberts heads the table by virtue of having participated in more matches.
The high break is with Will Lemons (101).

In Division 2, Leeds “2” kept their lead at the top of the table with a 3-3 draw at home to Harrogate. Tom Harris(68) put Harrogate in front before James Pearson salvaged a draw for Leeds. Kaif Shazad chipping in with a 56 break for Harrogate.
Second-placed Wharfedale were also held to a 3-3 draw at Sheffield “3”, Gyles Behbood (79) putting them in command before Reece Matin hit back for Sheffield.
In the third match, Bradford had a 4-2 victory at Huddersfield, Atif Mukhtar putting the home side in front before Peter Hamilton and Boover Singh secured the victory for Bradford.
Kaif Shazad holds the top spot in the Division 2 MVP race with 11 wins, with 4 players sharing second place with 10. Tom Harris holds the high break with 103.
With all fixtures up to date, it looks like the last match of the season between Wharfedale and Leeds “2” could well decide the title.
