This year’s Inter League is now complete.
In the depleted Division 1, Castleford secured the point they needed to finish second behind runaway winners Sheffield “2” despite going down 4-2 away at Sheffield “1”. Bradley Andrews starring for the home side.
Will Lemons headed the MVP list with 13/16. Shaun Wilkes also had 13 wins but finished second by virtue of having missed a match. He did however, take the high break prize with 110.
Division 2 was a much closer affair, with just 1 point separating the top three teams.
Sheffield “3” had already secured the title, Leeds finishing second thanks to a 5-1 win at home to Wakefield. Danny Waite and Tom Oates gaining maximum points.
Bradford finished third, despite thrashing Huddersfield “2” 6-0, thanks to Simon Bedford, Boover Singh and Hanif Rafiq.
In the other match, Halifax overcame Harrogate “2” 4-2.
Dave Hall finished as MVP with 17/22, and Simon Bedford took the high break prize with 71.
