Yorkshire Snooker Championship draws out now

 
The draws for this season’s Yorkshire Championships are now available to view and can be found by following the link below.

 
An intriguing opening round tie sees 4 time defending Champion Johnathon Bagley taking on youngster Stan Moody, who is fresh from his recent success in lifting the Yorkshire Under 16s title. Last season’s runner up and former winner Dave Portman takes on Daniel Knight, with 2010 champion Gareth Green facing Mick Jenson. The newly crowned Yorkshire Under 19s Champion Lewis Harper will be full of confidence and plays Dave French, whilst former Pro’s Sanderson Lam and Simon Bedford enter the competition with matches against Tony Buckley and Luke Woodhead respectively 
 
The two qualifying events are to be played on the 1st and 15th March, matches are best of 5 frames, four players will qualify from each event to make up the quarter finals, which will be redrawn live prior to that round of fixtures on the 19th April, semi finals also played on this day, with the Final taking place on Friday 5th June when the annual season end Yorkshire Presentation night is held afterwards. Quarter Finals onward are the best of 7 frames
 
Players need to be at the venue by the allotted time stated on the draws and are reminded of the dress code for this event, as with all Yorkshire events that trainers, T-Shirts, collarless jumpers, jeans, pumps, sandals, etc (list not exhaustive) are not permitted, and preferred dress code would be shoes, trousers, shirt with collar or polo shirt. Jumpers can be worn if there is a collar. 
 
The Tournament Director for the competition is Andy Kitson and his details are on the sheet. Prize money will be payable for the qualifying match round onward, this is defined in the draw sheets.
