Sheffield “2” in pole position in Division 1

A 6-0 demolition of Rotherham saw Sheffield “2” move to within 2 points of Brighouse at the top of Division 1 but with 2 games in hand. Will Lemons(62), Shaun Wilkes (100,76) and David Dalton all on top form for Sheffield.

League Leaders Brighouse could only manage a draw away at Ossett. Mick Stocks took both frames for Ossett before Craig Butler did likewise for the visitors.

Leeds “1” v Sheffield “1” was postponed and joins Leeds “1” v Rotherham, Sheffield “1” v Leeds “1” and Sheffield “2” v Leeds “1” as matches which are outstanding.
