Harrogate “1” extend their lead at the top of Division 2.

Harrogate “1” moved an impressive 9 points clear at the top of division 2 after a 6-0 whitewash of the Harrogate “2” side. Callum Waite, Kaif Shazad (76) and Tom Harris (68) all on form for the leaders.

Second-placed Huddersfield “1” had a fine 5-1 victory over Huddersfield “2”, Robert Read and Martin Wood gaining maximum points.

In south Yorkshire, Sheffield “3” defeated Wakefield 5-1, Reece Matin and Dave Pagett starring for Sheffield, David Manuel adding a 54 break.

In the fourth match, Halifax and Bradford fought out a 3-3 draw. Johnny Gallagher putting Fax in front before Josh Walker salvaged a draw for the visitors.

Kaif Shazad still heads the race for MVP with 15/16, Johnny Gallagher’s break of 87 is still the highest.

The next round of matches is on the weekend of 8th/9th February.
